The additional purchase
expenses are aprox. 10% of the declared
property value in the deeds (escritura)
and include:
- IVA 7% (Spanish
VAT)
- Legal fees and
NIE number(tax identity number)
- Notary Fees and
registration of the title
- Plus Valia if
applicable (Tax levied on the increase
in value of the plot since purchased
by the seller)
In terms of getting
a mortgage, Sun Sea
Homes works with all mayor banks in
Spain, so we are able to provide you
with the best deal on the Spanish market,
we will offer you better deals than
most of the developing sites. And ss
you are legally free to replace any
existing mortgage on a property with
a new one, it would be advisable to
overview your current situation.
Our in-house
independent financial advisers are
able to choose from the whole UK mortgage
market to find you the best deal if
you wish to finance your property through
a UK mortgage.
